UAE Space Mission: Hope
Hi, I'm Tigger, and welcome back to the New News Newshour.
Despite of the pandemic that has been going since December of 2019, things like the 2020 American Presidential Election, and some construction projects, haven't stopped proceeding, so are some space programs, such as the “Hope,” a probe heading to Mars.
Using about six years to carry out, the Hope would take off from Tanegashima, Japan, if there are no more delays.
Originally planned to take off on July 15th, UTC+9, the mission made by the UAE (الامارات) Space Agency was delayed by bad weather. It is said that the mission is rescheduled to launch July 17th, and reach Mars in 2021, to orbit and take photos of Mars’ atmosphere, and hopefully, will know more about the “Red Planet”, even Earth, too.

I think I would watch live if I could wake up at dawn! And that's the end of today's Newshour. Bye!
