Look, There’s Mr.Tofu!

Hi, Mr.Tofu! Friends, this is Mr.Tofu. Can you introduce yourself?

Yeah! My name’s Tofu, and unlike you humans, I’m made up of soy milk, that's pressed and made into my shape!

And, I'm originally from China, though later, other countries like the U.S., started liking me too!

Umm, Mr.Tofu, the holiday?

Ahh... Yes. World Tofu Day, which’s today, July 26th, is a holiday founded by the Society for the Protection of Animals Canada (SPA), though I still can't figure out: Why is an animal protection group caring about tofu. Anyway, they made this day in 2014.
