How To Keep Safe From Covid-19: #11 Quarantine

Hi, I'm Dr.Tigger, and welcome.

A few days ago, we talked about isolation, which’s a process of not getting into close contact with others. And today, we’re going to talk about something similar, quarantine.

Why do I say it's like a isolation? Because quarantining is also a process involving the same steps, only it's mainly about if you're sick. Well, you think you are sick, you quarantine, you're sick, you isolate.

And what counts as “you might be sick?” Close contact with someone who has Covid-19, meaning they do have symptoms, and they were tested positive.

If you did anything ranging from outdoor activities to sharing a room or caring for each other, then it's time to quarantine.

Another kind of the “you might be sick” bunch is that you were tested positive on an antibody test, to learn more about tests, visit the first of the [How To Keep Safe From Covid-19] series.

Anyway, quarantine may last for 14 days, but if in that time you had contact again, then you would have to start over. Bye!
