Xinfadi Reopen After Covid Lockdown
Welcome to the New News Newshour, I’m Tigger.
For 2 months, the kilometer-long wholesale market, know as Xinfadi, has re-opened, after the terrible outbreak of Covid cases.
It was seen yesterday that trucks loaded with fruit and veggies drove through the market gate of Xinfadi.
The Beijing market officially reopened when a truckload of watermelons entered at 7:38 AM that day.
In my opinion, reopening this market could be good, but also bad.
It could be good because people can buy stuff and others can earn money.
On the other hand, outbreaks could happen again, so it's best we limit the amount of people going to Xinfadi, and all these people must wear masks, to prevent further outbreaks, and still let people buy things.
So that's the Newshour, bye!
