Blaze In Southern California

Welcome to the New News Newshour, I'm Tigger.

A few days ago, California had raging wildfires, and it's still carrying on, while firefighters are trying to keep up.

Before, California had already suffered a heatwave, several lightning storms, and now, wildfires, all in the middle of a pandemic. Residents have been told to evacuate, and smoke is meanwhile making dangerous air pollution. The extreme conditions were caused not only by the thunderstorms, but also by moisture from a nearby tropical storm.

What I think is that since California has wildfires every year, due to droughts and whatnot, so, we could make man-made rain, to prevent and lower the risks.

To residents, I think they could give the risks to insurance companies, so that if their houses burn, they could at least have money to rebuild.

So let's today's Newshour, bye!
