Frankenstein Or Victor Frankenstein?

August 30, 2020159 words1 min read

When I say “Frankenstein”, what do you see? The monster with bolts in its neck? Or the doctor that made that horrible monster? Either way, people all refer to them as “Frankenstein”, though, in the original book, the name referred to Dr.Victor Frankenstein, but then again, the book is also called “Frankenstein”. Now, let's say there's this Frankenstein Day (and there really is), so it's referring to monster, doctor, and book! And that day is today, on the anniversary of Mary Shelley’s birthday, author of the book. The book tells us about Dr.Frankenstein constructing a monster from the dead, and after electrifying it, make it come to life.

Actually, I think all this is like controlling AI development, AI could be dangerous, so we need to control it. Frankenstein (the monster) should also be controlled to prevent things such as the “end of the world” from happening.

So bye for now, because that monster is getting on my nerves!
