U.S. Politics: #5 Hired To The Supreme Court (For Life!)
Hey there, guys, it’s the U.S. Politics show again! Oh, don't worry, I doubt you'll ever get hired by the president of the United States as a Supreme Court justice, but if you do, you don't actually have to do the job, for life! Yeah, you could be impeached, you can also retire, but if you don't get impeached, nor retire, then good luck judging cases forever!
So, how do you get hired? Well, first, you got to be nominated by the president of the U.S., but that doesn't mean you're a justice in the highest court of America, you still have to be approved by the Senate, then you could be a justice.
Though you could be from France, and 20, and also know nothing in politics, courts, and judging a hard case, but still get appointed. Just an example, I guess there isn't a justice that had those conditions, but it means you can be foreign to U.S.A, and your age doesn't matter, your position doesn't matter, either, ask the Constitution of the U.S.!
Let's just say you've got the president's attention, and have the Senate on your side. Congrats! You just need to swear some oaths.
I think though getting hired is hard, you sure will enjoy it! Good luck judging!
