Update: Calif. Wildfires Get More “Wild”

This is the Newshour, I’m Tigger, giving an update on the California wildfires.

As the wildfires rage, smoke is rising into the sky, blocking out the sun, and making the sky turn into an eerie shade of orange.

With high winds fanning the uncontrolled flames, wildfires are spreading to nearby states such as Oregon, with the governor saying hundreds of homes had burned down there.

National forests were shut down in California to prevent new fires from sparking, and more power outages are expected.

Remember the Electoral College? OK, it does have nothing to do with the wildfires, but if, just an “if”, Trump or Biden could, in some way, help stop the fires, then I can guarantee all 55 electoral votes of Calif. will go to either the Republican or the Democratic party.
