Can't Scare Away The Spooky Halloween
“Trick-or-treat!” It's almost Halloween, or Hallows’ Eve, where we remember the dead, including saints, etc, but for most kids, the festival is all about candy. On a normal Halloween, kids go walking on the street, yelling trick-or-treat at every doorstep for gummy, yummy candy. But this year, it isn't a normal year, and with social distancing and all that, it would be impossible to hand out candy face-to-face, unless...
And the “Wicked Makers” on YouTube have the perfect solution, presenting the: Candy slide! It is a DIY prop made from a fake skeleton, some pipes, some old-looking white cloth, all stuck together using a glue gun.
The idea is that an adult stands at the high end and slides candy down the slightly sloping pipe, and on the lower end 6 feet away, kids get candy.
This could keep social distancing, while still celebrating Halloween.
Others have made similar ones, and thanks to them, the scary, spooky pandemic, can't scare away the scary, spooky Halloween, after all.
