Breaking News: FBI Says Iran Russia Have U.S. Voter Info

The Newshour is back with breaking news, the FBI, Federal Bureau of Investigation, is saying that Iran and Russia have gained U.S. voter info.

Gaining voter information is a very serious problem since the people with the info could persuade voters and rig an election. Usually, voter info is given out at request in most states, though states have different rules on who can have and use this data.

But this isn't the first time other countries have tried to rig a U.S. election. The same thing happened in 2016’s Russian interference.

There were also emails threatening to come after you if you didn't vote for “Mr. Trump” this year. A pretty harsh way to persuade voters, you should at least be more polite if you want someone to do something, right?

Anyway, I'm glad that the FBI found out before election day because if every election is rigged by other countries, American “democracy” wouldn’t quite be “democracy” anymore if you ask me.
