Happy Internet Day!
Like the Internet? You know, the invisible interconnected global system of computer networks? Well, happy Internet Day!
Do you know how big the Internet actually is? If you could see it, literally see it, I think your brain would short circuit, since there are just too many messages, emails, etc, sent over the Internet 24/7. Luckily, no one could currently see the Internet.
Did you know the first letters ever sent over the Internet were “L” and “O”? Ever since then, we have been using the Internet to text our friends, access info, and to do other daily things.
So it might not seem surprising when I tell you today, Oct 29th, is International Internet Day! Internet Day is, as you have probably already guessed, a day to celebrate the Internet. You could celebrate by visiting the first website, http://info.cern.ch/!
