Nothing’s better than All Hallows’ Eve! Unfamiliar with that name? Not to worry, it's also called Halloween!

Now we're talking! Halloween, a.k.a. All Saints’ Eve, Hallowe’en, or Allhalloween, originated from festivals like Samhain, though others say it was originally a Christian holiday. Whatever the case, this holiday is widely known as a day when the dead revisit the living, while to children, it is a day of candy and pranks. There are lots of symbols representing Halloween, from the jack-o'-lantern, made from pumpkins, to trick-or-treating, to lighting bonfires.

Even ordinary jack-o'-lanterns have a legend behind them. Long story short, when a wicked man named Jack died, he was refused by the Devil and God, so he wandered for eternity, and people carved scary faces from turnips and stuff to scare away his soul. Interesting, right?

I like trick-or-treating, so I also like Halloween. What about you?
