Breaking News: PM Announces England's 2nd Lockdown

The Newshour is back with breaking news, as England passes 1 million cases, PM Boris Johnson announces England’s 2nd lockdown since this pandemic.

The new lockdown, unlike the one in Spring, will close pubs, bars, and restaurants, though colleges, universities, and schools could still remain open, as well as construction sites. Leisure and entertainment venues, including gyms, will also close. Sorry, if you would want to keep fit throughout the pandemic in the UK, you’ll have to buy your own equipment.

I think this new particularly strange “lockdown” is a good idea because children and teens can still go to school, while there will be fewer gatherings in public for parties and stuff. That doesn't mean we should loosen social distancing orders. I want to add that we should still have strict social distancing, not only in the UK, to protect everyone.
