Happy Doctor Who/TARDIS Day!

Hi there, I’m Doctor Who, and I’m 57 standard years old. Today, Nov 23rd, is my birthday, Doctor Who Day, or TARDIS Day!

I was originally created by Sydney Newman, C.E. Webber, and Donald Wilson for the BBC, the first iteration of my series ran on the 23rd of Nov in 1963, making that day my official birthday.

As a fictional character from a British Sci-fi show, I don’t “die”, or at least my spirit doesn’t. After a few adventures with my companions through space and time in my time machine the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space), which is in the form of a police call box, my form gets battered, so I “regenerate” into a new form with a new personality. I am actually a following of the adventures of The Doctor, from the race known as the Time Lords, righting wrongs and defeating villains.

My series was originally an education show, with stories split between historical tales and fictional ones. But later, monsters became my ultimate enemies, taking over the series.

I think a good way to celebrate my birthday is t watch at least a bit of my series, Doctor Who. Anyway, I’m off to watch my own series for the infinite (∞) time!
