Mystery: Metal Monolith Discovered In The Middle Of Nowhere
The Newshour is back this time with some news that has led to crazy speculation, the mystery of the metal monolith discovered in the middle of nowhere.
Well, not exactly in the middle of “nowhere”, it was actually discovered in the heart of Utah’s Mars-like red-rock desert by a state employee carrying out a count of bighorn sheep. The 12-foot-tall three-sided stainless-steel object appeared to be firmly planted in the ground, instead of being just dropped there. The mystery metal object has lead to much speculation since it was discovered on Nov 18th, from being left behind by aliens, to being an “on-off” switch for the planet, to being a piece of random art punt there by an artist.
“I think it is most likely an object left behind by aliens, because who else would bother putting something as tall as two people in the middle of a desert?” Says Tigger. “But the stranger thing is since according to Google Earth’s historical view, the object appeared sometime between August 2015 and October 2016, why didn’t anyone notice earlier? That is what really makes this a mystery.” He wants to know what you think.
This is the Newshour, thank you.
