As Christmas Day looms ever closer, with just a few days to go, Santa Claus, the legendary, old jolly man who delivers gifts to the homes of good children on Christmas Day, Dec 25th, is facing a big problem this year: How will he give gifts safely?

Even though Santa is said to have magical powers and whatnot, it’s better to have a plan and not take risks because no one wants Santa to get sick from Covid. Luckily, some kids have explained how.

They think that instead of leaving cookies and other treats on their kitchen table for Santa when he delivers their presents, they should put them on the roof. That way, he wouldn’t need to come into the house.

“They think he’ll drop their gifts down the chimney or something,” says Tigger today. “Funny, but it could work.” He wishes you a merry Christmas.

That has been the New News Newsminute. Thank you, and happy holidays.
