Want to go snow skiing, snowboarding, or play snow in the Chinese cities Harbin and Shenyang? With this new bullet train that China has just unveiled, you can get there more quickly and easily. Plus, you don’t need to worry about the high-speed train breaking down in ultra-cold temperatures.

This train, known as the CR400AF-G train, can operate at speeds up to 350 km per hour in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius, is part of the Fuxing series of high-speed electric multiple-unit trains. These were developed and operated by the state-owned China State Railway Group. The trains will run on a new high-speed line connecting the Chinese capital with northeastern destinations, including cities Shenyang and Harbin.

“But I advise you to ride this new line after the pandemic is well over,” said Tigger in an interview today. “Because it spreads more efficiently in closed spaces, such as trains.”

That has been the New News Newsminute, thank you.
