“Floating Boat” Bridge In Italy; Will Be Opened Soon

Estimated to be opened in July, 2020, the “Floating Boat” bridge is about 1.5 Empire state buildings big, and as heavy as 3 Eiffel Towers.

“I heard that the piers of this thing is about 2 Burj Khalifas, or 1,500 meters,” says Tigger.

This bridge is also a part of the E80 highway in Italy, the final part of this giant bridge was put in place just this week. But the bridge was actually a replacement for the Morandi bridge, which collapsed in August, 2018, killing 43 people with it.

But the replacement was rapidly built, and now stands 45m above ground.

“What an impressive bridge! Let's just hope this one doesn't collapse any time soon,” jokes Tigger.
