Super Bowl LV: Chiefs V.S. Buccaneers
Did you know there’s this thing known as the Super Bowl? No, it isn’t a super-big bowl. It’s a football game that will take place on Feb 7th of this year, with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This match will be the 55th Super Bowl, crowning the champion of the 2020 NFL season. And not to get confused, the term “football” here is the American term, the one where players wear helmets and chase an oval-shaped ball. In England, the same word stands for the American game “soccer.” There’s also a similar sport to American football in Great Britain, called “rugby.” They are similar because, in the 19th century, American football developed from rugby.
“Sometimes, same languages could be a bit messed up in different countries,” said Tigger in an interview today. “The same can be said for American football. I always think it’s more like wrestling than football.”
That has been the New News Newsminute, thank you.
