Want your house to be shipped to a brand new location? It might be possible, depending on where you want to move it to and its size. It’s like how the Victorian “Englander” house got moved.

The historic 139-year-old house, located in San Francisco, U.S.A., got moved on Feb 21st this year, from Franklin Street to a new location six blocks away on Fulton Street. It’s astounding to watch the 133-ton seven-bedroom house get moved. Even though it was only six blocks, not that far away, it took around six hours to get there. People also gathered on the sidewalks to watch this one-of-a-kind operation. What was the reason behind this? A 48-unit apartment complex will get built where the building previously was. Hey, can’t you construct one in the location “Englander” is now?

“I just hope no one was inside the building when it got moved,” said Tigger earlier. “That would have been terrifying, with your house getting just hoisted up.”

That has been the New News Newsminute, thank you.
