Let’s Celebrate Scientists!

March 14, 2021190 words1 min read

You may have never heard of them, but they helped us a lot. Who are they? These people are scientists! No, not the mad kind in the movies. They are the kind who do many experiments to improve our lives.

Anyone could be a scientist, even you. But to invent stuff would require skill, most importantly patience, trying again and again after failures. And we celebrate these life-changing scientists on a day called Celebrate Scientists Day!

The day marks the birthday of Albert Einstein, which is today, Mar 14th. Einstein, a German-born theoretical physicist, is known widely for his relativity theory, a modern physics pillar. And his mass and energy equivalence formula E = mc² is considered “the world’s most famous equation.” He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect.”

So can you do as well as Einstein? Today, we not only celebrate scientists, but we can also be scientists. There’s no need to compete with one of the greatest of all time. Challenge your friends to make the best robot design!
