Happy Mother's Day

Mother’s Day. We all know about it. It's a day to honor mothers, we make cards and presents to give to them.
But have you ever wondered the history behind this holiday? This day is actually not as modern as you think it is. It started long ago in Greek times, when they celebrated for Rhea, mother of the gods.
But the modern Mother’s Day that we know actually started in America, founded by Anna Jarvis, who was a social activist.
“Strange actually, for a day once honoring the mother of the gods, now a day to honor mothers,” says Tigger, “but since I don't have time to make a gift, I decided to write about Mother's Day.”
Since today is Mother's Day, so all mothers, please enjoy.
