1 Year Of New News, 1 Year Of Hardship

Hi, I’m Tigger, chief editor and only editor of the daily newspaper New News. For a year since April 5th, 2020, you have been receiving feeds on that day’s important headline, whether breaking news, a holiday, or an eye-catching topic. And today, being April 4th is Edition 365 of this newspaper.

In Edition 1, we reported on the outbreak of the deadly virus Covid-19. And in Edition 259, there was the exciting news of Moderna’s vaccine approved for emergency use authorization in the U.S. At first, I wrote this newspaper just for fun, as a way of spending time. However, gradually, it became not just a hobby. I started putting my thoughts, feelings, and ideas into it, sharing them to the outside world, to you. There were also series like “How To Keep Safe From Covid-19,” talking about vaccines, social distancing, masks, tools to fight the disease.

What a tough year it has been. Things happen, sometimes terrible things. But we need to have courage, able to continue, like how I kept writing New News. And tomorrow, there’s an exciting thing, I hope you can wait and see! Thanks for reading this annual summary. Bye!
