Happy Birthday To New News!

One year ago, on April 5th, 2020, Edition 1 of New News got published. And today, I, chief editor Tigger, came up with a holiday of our own, New News Day!

Celebrated annually since today, with no history at all, New News Day is all about our newspaper. It has been reporting on various topics and breaking news, with today also being its birthday.

If you’re a longtime reader, you certainly know that the last 365 editions were published daily. However, we’re making some changes. It might be surprising, but New News is changing to weekly editions. Now don’t give me that look. There are also some exceptions. Series like Newsminute Economics, other special editions, and important breaking news can publish regularly. And since it’s issuing at a slower rate, we’re going to make editions’ content longer. It’ll not only be just a headline. We’re going to dive deep into the depths of what and why it happened, being more like the newspapers’ opinion section.

So that’s the end of this introduction to New News Day and what plans we have for this year. Thanks for reading, and now I’m going to use a cake to celebrate. Bye!
