4,400 years old tomb found in Egypt
A private home for 4,400 years old was found in Egypt, at the Saqqara archaeological site, researchers say it was from the 5th dynasty of pharaohs, and belonged to a priest named "Wahtie".
The tomb was 10 meters (33 feet) long and 3 meters (10 feet) wide, roughly as big as a average sitting room, only with a treasure chest, statues carved from stone in about 50 niches, and of course, the coffin with the mummy inside.
Mummys are made when the corpse has its organs removed and covered with salt for 40 days then washed with bee wax and perfumed oil. And finally, wrapped in linen and decorated with jewelry. And for the last step, put in a coffin and taken to pyramids to be buried. "But one mummy takes up too much space, they should pack up their things and let others move in to live together!" Said Tigger today.
