International museum day.
It has a long history international museum day. It started in 1977 and was created by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), and is celebrated annually on May 18th.
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), let's museums across the country allow free entry to the general public in order to celebrate this day, so museums all over the world follow that example.
"I want to go to the Le Louvre Museum, I want to see the famous painting Mona Lisa there, since today it will be free to enter, " says Tigger, "but sadly, because of the Coronavirus, airlines are not available, so I can't fly to France, since I'm in Beijing."
Even though we can't actually go to museums today, we could go on the Internet and see some pictures of famous paintings, so go now, to see great paintings and portraits.
