New News 3rd Anniversary Recap & Summary (2022-2023)
From economic to health news, climate change facts[1],[2],[3], look-backs upon historical events[4],[5],[6],[7], and other updates of news stories worldwide, New News has always been committed to accomplishing bringing you the newest news possible. Hi, I’m Chief Editor Tigger, and I’m proud to tell you that today marks the third anniversary since this newspaper published its first article. That means Happy New News Day!
This little holiday marks April 5th, 2020, the day this newspaper got founded. And to celebrate, I’ll present a recap on the background of New News and summarize what I have published in the past year. Let’s start first with the “history”.
I got this idea of writing a newspaper from a fiction book I read. I was always interested in fiction, and that passion for plot points and twisters hasn’t disintegrated over the past three years of writing. The main character in the book wrote a newspaper and handed it out at school. I thought that was quite fascinating and would be a chance to know more about what was happening around me. The very first article I wrote was about the coronavirus outbreak. And since then, I have continued writing this newspaper, trying to improve it along the way.
For the first year, it got published daily. But due to time complications after pandemic restrictions got loosened, this newspaper turned into publishing weekly, usually on Mondays. However, I’m glad to say that after changing to weekly editions, every article didn’t just include the basic news story. I was also able to add a more sophisticated and deep analysis of that news story and try to provide a better experience for our readers.
Another crucial changing point for this newspaper was on December 2nd, 2020, when I published the 242 edition[8]. In that edition, I decided to add an English recording of me reading that news story. I hoped that this could help readers know how to read a particular sentence, word, or paragraph.
That’s all for the ‘history’ and development of this newspaper. What about the specifics? Here are some of the sectors I have covered in the past year. They include articles about space exploration[9],[10], cryptocurrencies[11], economic news[12],[13],[14],[15],[16][17],[18], world politics[19],[20],[21],[22],[23],[24],[25],[26], scientific innovations[27],[28],[29], education[30], health[31],[32],[33], famous people[34],[35],[36],[37], and more recently, about ChatGPT and AI chat-bots[38],[39], and much more. And for more important topics that needed more analysis, for example, the summary on the war in Ukraine[40],[41], I divided it into a small series usually consisting of two parts, with every part not being that long. My main goal is to make understanding the news story easier for readers like you, and I hope that got achieved.
So that sums up the summary of the past year, and if you have any suggestions for improving this newspaper, please post them in the comments of my official account, and I’ll do my best to respond. That’s the end of this 3rd-anniversary production. Thank you for reading, for following, and for supporting this newspaper. Remember to share with friends and family so they don’t miss out on the latest. Happy birthday to New News!
