Simplify Fractions

Fractions = Parts of a whole number

Example: 1/2, 3/4 (1 & 3 are the numerators, 2 & 4 are the denominators)

Simplify A Fraction = making denominator & numerator as small as possible while still being whole numbers

Example: 12/18 (dividable by 6) = (12÷6)/(18÷6) = 2/3 (note: must divide by the same number to keep the fraction equivalent)

Simplify the fraction until its denominator or numerator is PRIME
