Mixed Numbers & Improper Fractions
Fractions come in two kinds: Improper & Mixed (and also the proper/normal fractions)
Improper Fractions = Numerator ≥ Denominator
Example: 6/5
Example: 3/2
Mixed Fractions
Example: 1+1/5
Example: 1+1/2
Basic Conversion Tips:
mixed number into improper fraction = (whole part * denominator + numerator) / denominator
