What Is Cancer
Tumors = abnormal mass(es) of cells
Benign tumors (not cancer); these tumors are harmless as they stay put. They are usually caused by cells trapped inside a ‘membrane’.
Malignant tumors (is cancer); these tumors are dangerous because they are free to spread throughout the body and can cause a lot of damage while doing so, and is why they are classified as an entire different type
Various Risk Factors for Different Cancers.
Too much ultraviolet light exposure can result in skin cancer
Obesity can result in liver or kidney cancer
Smoking may result in lung, mouth or stomach cancer.
