Bacterial Diseases

Most Bacteria Hasn’t Got Anything to Do With Humans (those in our bodies are mostly good for us)

For example, there are trillions of bacteria that break down our food

The Bad Ones = Cause Bacterial Infections

bacteria = 100 times smaller than human cells

Can reproduce (preferably in the body)

Release toxins that can damage cells and make them fell ill

Salmonella = Food Poisoning

It is caught when eating contaminated food, and here are some of its symptoms:

Fever

Stomach cramps

Diarrhoea

Vomiting

Passes by itself after 1 week or so, and be sure to keep hydrated throughout that period

When Dealing with Disease, There are Two Options to Get Rid of It:

Prevention; get vaccinated, and use the appropriate protection to stop oneself from actually catching the disease

Getting Treatment; getting the right treatment at the right time is crucial to curing a disease. Some of the possible treatments include antibiotics, other medication, and more

Remember that these two approaches to dealing with disease are separate.
