Paperclips are flat pieces on metals. They can get your papers organized in no time! They don't even disturb your papers!

More people started using them in the 19th century, when various kinds were starting to be made. Also around this time, steel was discovered, and so, machines making paperclips were invented. Before that, around the 13th century, straight pins were often used to fasten papers together. People also use them for pinning other items too.

Then, in the 1860's, modern paperclips came along, but it was in the 1918's, when that manufacturing really picked up.

Different kinds were made, mostly in order to have unique design, having their own patents. Tigger said today that, "more paper clips, the better!" He meant that you, should have more paperclips, to keep organized.
