The “Second Wave” of Outbreaks
Hi, everybody, and welcome to New News Newshour.
For the past few months, the Novel Coronavirus, or Covid-19, has been roaming China, killing thousands in its path. But for the past few days, the world's “Coronavirus confirmed cases” toll has been dying down, only to change, after 46 workers at a wholesale market called Xinfadi and from its surroundings were tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Before that, schools were planning to open in Beijing, and sports like Fencing were opening their doors again, only to stop dead, and turn around to “enjoy” another remote few months, due to new outbreak.
Even though sports and other activities are closing up again, you can still do them at home, in a park, or even in your backyard! I think that even if things look better, you should still take measures, to keep safe. And maybe, Xinfadi, which means “new outbreak place”, should consider changing to “Bufadi”, meaning “No outbreak place”, to prevent further outbreaks.
For the New News Newshour, I’m Tigger.
