No Poisons For Me!
Here's a riddle: What's are the 5 most venomous creatures in Chinese history? Don't know? There are the scorpion, spider, centipede, snake and… Toad? Well, there are actually lots of versions of the five venomous creatures, but the one I just said was the most common.
Why are we talking about this anyway? It's not like they'll stop attacking you. The truth is, the old Chinese Republic at that time believed that the 5th day of the 5th lunar month (which is today, this year) was a bad day, ‘cause evil spirits and bad luck might approach on this day, and haunt a house for the rest of the year. To prevent this, people hung garlic and stuff on doors, thinking the smell will protect them. Later on, this day turned to the well known “Dragon Boat Festival” or “Duanwujie”, still, some call it the “Double Fifth Festival”.
Tigger has a brilliant idea after reading this article: Since we could keep away evil things and bad luck, all by hanging some garlic, then could we keep away Covid-19? Using the same way? He’s tempted to try.
